This is probably Norm's most eclectic album to date, showing a depth of writing that reflects his 25 year career as a concert and recording artist both in and outside of the church walls. Ranging in styles from blues to bluegrass, from rock to celtic, this project shows a mastery of multiple genres and has something for any lover of well-crafted and articulate music. Norm has long been known in church circles as a worship song-writer and there are some new gems here written for congregational worship, but they are intentionally placed on the CD next to songs written about everyday life. The idea is to reflect what is truly true to life. That is, that worship is meant to be woven into our everyday experience. The result is that this CD is an eloquent and thoughtful musical expression that reveals a vibrant faith in God.
